Based on the philosophy that core stability is the key to optimizing neuromuscular control and proper jumping and landing position, the CORE program utilizes a variety of exercises, equipment and video analysis in a versatile course formulated to maximize the athlete's health, durability and performance potential.

While conventional neuromuscular training programs target strength, agility and jump-skill instruction– with relatively little emphasis on core training, the CORE Program focuses on the core as the key to injury prevention and improved athletic performance.

CORE offers a comprehensive approach to ACL injury prevention that includes:
  • Discussion of susceptibility to injury
  • Discussion of "at risk" landing position
  • Complete screening process
  • Dynamic stretching and warm-up
  • Core training using stability balls
  • Increased postural awareness
  • Proper landing & jumping techniques
  • Training in sport specific patterns
