Our Expertise

"I have no doubt this CORE program would lower the risk for injury. This is the best program that I've seen. They've shown that in the schools they've worked with and at Colorado College."

- Dr. Randy Williams, Longview orthopedic surgeon

We have combined the knowledge and experiences of Program Director Corey Eaton, MEd, ATC, LAT, CSCS, physicians from Dallas Orthopedic Center and athletic trainers at Colorado College. This expertise has helped develop our unique philosophies and training of our CORE program.

The origins of the CORE program date back nearly two decades when the seeds were planted by Bruce Kola, MS, ATC, the head athletic trainer at Colorado College. Associate athletic trainer

Cindy Endicott, ATC, PT assisted Kola in the growth and development of this core stability and screening program. Over the past 14 years, female athletes at Colorado College, a split Division I school fielding 11 women's varsity teams, has sustained only 7 non-contact ACL tears.

In 2003, Corey Eaton trained extensively with Kola and Endicott and brought his knowledge and experience to Dallas. Working with physicians at Dallas Orthopedic Center, Eaton has expanded the program to include progressive jump skill, agility and plyometric training after core stability is established.
